Hey, relax about the gay comment. It's a ****ing joke, you witless little men. I live in South Beach. Half of my friends are gay, veggimatics, etc. I even know a couple people who like George W. Bush. To each his own. I like chicks, I eat meat, I have no patience for politics and I have limited patience for other people's feelings. I was looking for a little advice on a brake lever, not so much a heckling from pained, vegetable farting nerds. I forget that the bulk of the new single speed/fixed gear crowd is not so much concerned with fitness, performance and quality equipment as they are cheapness, hipness and acceptance from other soft shelled coffee shop dwellers. I've been riding fixed gear track bikes on the road (for winter training purposes, not for the "cool" factor) since the mid-eighties and never thought I was somebody special for having been so hip or ingenious to do so. Sorry if my stark normalcy stunk up the cool room.
I feel sorry for guys like Paul who make a decent (albeit expensive) product and try to sell it to such a tough crowd. I think I'll buy one to support his efforts.

And I have black friends. Of course they're inferior, but I still hang around them and let them use my bathroom sometimes.

Price. A lot. ~$400USD for the insanely light brakes and levers, at the moment. there are only a few production sets circulating. Guess the weight for the levers.

I'm am just guessing here...
Brake weight 58grams with Ti springs. Lever weight 42grams. MSRP is set at around $440, for both brakes and levers.
