Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

bittersweet......

So, yesterday I got rear-ended (in the company truck, while I was stopped) by a guy doing between 50 and 60 mph. Spent the day in the hospital getting my face put back together.
Bike relevance: my scoot was in the back of the truck, so now it's thrashed.

Good news:
I found this, and it's still available. The other guy's insurance is going to pay for my poor, deceased bike, so this one is comin' my way this afternoon!!!!

$400 with campy/cinelli and the HED? Damn.

It's a good thing you're (seemingly) OK. Can you ride?
