when in rome...
who rides a damned fixed gear and can understand some english? ****.
|
I don't believe my fixed gear has been condemned to hell but I do speak English. That's probably not any help though.
|
but are you also in rome?
|
Nope. What's the problem, having a hard time finding fixed gear savvy bike shops?

Learn Italian. Roma has many English speakers, as opposed to the number of Italian speakers in the US.

I just met two guys in Roma named Raphael and Paolo at the Piazza Santa Maria in Trastavere on Sunday night. I think they gather there weekly at midnight. I rode with them later in the week with two other nice fellas: John and Edward, both native English speakers who also speak Italian. All really good guys. For shops with track parts, head south.

PS: Sto studiando l'italiano. However, I haven't gotten my ITALIAN 201 - FIXED GEAR ITALIAN FOR BEGINNERS in the mail yet and I thought I'd try asking helpful people in the forum. Also, thanks for that link!

Tell them voglio un fixed gear adante tutti a fanculo. That will work just fine...ha. What were you doing in Trastevere? Vacation or do you live there?
