My first fixie build, Fetish Cycle

Here is a link to a pic of my first fixie build. Its a $199 Fetish frame off of Ebay.
Miche crank, bottom bracket and seatpost, campy hi-flange hubs with Deep V's, Nitto bullhorns, SMP Evolution saddle, Bontrager carbon fork ($80 shipped from Honk Kong) and a temporary stem.
I wanted to ride it today but when I got home I had somehow run over a staple and the front tire is flat.

https://home.swbell.net/hebert11/fetish_fixie_001.jpg

Bike weighs in at 16.5 lbs without pedals.

Overall I'm pleased.

My only problem with these Fetish frames is the integrated
headset, but I guess you can't really complain for $200.

This is the first bike I've ever owned with an integrated headset. I kind of like the sleek look.

I had one for just over a year. Only sold it because it was too small. Welds were ugly as sin, but it wasn't a bad bike at all.

I scraped those fugly stickers off as soon as it came out of the box.

Yep, welds could be prettier for sure. The graphics have grown on me. Mine are under the clearcoat so there is no easy way to remove them.

I think the "irrational devotion" is a fetish slogan ... I think. Like Fuji: "simply better" ... haha.

I'd ditch all the stickers and swap that stem out soon. Otherwise a nice build. Your rim's gonna get ugly if you use that brake much ... </stating the obvious>

They are basically the same frame. The fetish is a rebadged leader from a year or so back.

Yeah, what's up with the non-machined rim?
That's not good for braking.

How's that stem working out? I was thinking of getting one for my build until i knew what size/angle works best for me.

Looks great- why not come ride with the saturday PBA tweeners?
That ride is very doable on a fixie- hills none too bad.

Hey Pathdoc, good looking build. Glad to see you got it all put together since the last time I saw the frame (all wrapped up in plastic and in a box still).

what all is required for a bike with an integrated headset like that? Do you need anything more than the fork, top screw, and the headset (well and handle bars)
