What sort of value or asking price would you think is reasonable to sell a 1973 Schwinn Varsity in excellent shape? Tires may need to be replaced, but great working order otherwise.

A six-pack of crappy beer.

If you haven't done more than pick one up, don't knock 'em. They might be super heavy but they have a solid feel and ride like tanks. They're kinda like a heavy hardtail mountain bike with skinny tires and a more road oriented riding position/handleing. I sorta like em.

I bought a '71 for $40 in decent shape a couple months ago. Dutret will tell you it's a worthless piece of trash. I'm sure you could get $40 or $50 for it.
