Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

found a sticker i made years ago while packing up my apt. stuck it on the top tube of my bareknuckle. it's been getting some looks while locking up makes me want to switch up the saying every few months and see what reactions they get.

no, not just part of the saying, like the entire saying. i don't really have any ideas off the top of my head but i'm sure i'll have things randomly pop into my head

who was it that either had a blackboard piece hanging off their bike with some chalk, or had their frame painted with blackboard paint? one of the coolest things I've seen on this site.

i think its a nice change up from pre printed stickers. i remember the thing i used being like a printer. i would enjoy being able to wake up, and print up like.... " good morning gorgeous !!! " . Just because if i saw that on another bike, it would make me smile, and i really enjoy making people smile

blackboard paint is an awesome idea..it's just totally *****ty in real life...I made a blackboard once on plywood and after you write on it with chalk it doesn't ever really come off again...maybe I did it wrong tho...but it sucked..
