Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

New Build coming up

I bought a new set of wheels for my old Raleigh fixie, then came across a Redline 9-2-5 SS frame for a good deal. I was going to swap over my current cranks, old off brand but very pretty polished double cranks with a 42 mounted to the inside. But now I am thinking that track cranks aren't that pricey... Should I take the plunge and get new cranks, or run what I have? What do you think?

Thanks!

Mark
