Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: No bike at the moment; In process of building it.

Yay, people have yet another "reason" to go brake-less.

Hey, if people start using rim stickers, how will we be able to tell the "cool kids" from the not so cool kids? I mean what if some poser goes out and buys a Weinmann DP18 wheelset and slaps on these stickers? We may be lulled into a false sense of coolness when we se the dude chillin at the cafe reading Nietze next to his "Deep V" (with stickers no lesss) ride.
What if we were to actually compliment him "nice V's Dude.." only to have him sneer at us "HA! They're Weinmann DP18's you shmuck!". Oh the shame!

You could cut every 3rd spoke on the non-drive side on your deeps if you wanted to ruin them.

Stickers are fun...join the club!

I think it looks cool if I was into decorating my bike. I'd never buy them, but I'm really looking forward to seeing what hte other designs are and how people use it to match their bikes.

There are worse things being done to bikes than rim stickers.
