Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? yeah, nice build up. the silver crankset offsets it in a strange, but good, way.

I appreciate all the compliments but i'd rather not talk about how much i spent total on this bike. I'll just say a lot and I still have a left over fork. But it was still a fun process and I learned a lot and I love my bike

thanks everyone for the kind words.
this thread helped me out a lot on picking this bike and size and I'm stoked its coming a long nicely.

as for a couple questions posted,
the Homer Simpson sticker is from the KidRobot toys they came out for the simpsons. each toy has its sticker and I just cut it around the edges.
also, the giant zombie looking thing in the back of pic 2 was done by my friend and he took the idea from a drawing he saw in a zombie comic book. it does look rad.

Yeah runnning a shadow chain is sort of pointless, unless your bike was too light or something.

my orange kilo came thursday.

i put new bars on it. need new saddle. otherwise its the best thing thats ever happened to me.

i was riding a beater conversion before.ill probably end up putting some fenders and beefy tires on the conversion and hooking up an offroadertownie.
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...e/CIMG7435.jpg

and those kilotts do run a little big, my conversion was a 60 cm frame and the 57cm kilott was only a little smaller, almost the same.

right, RIGHT. i really hate that they include all those spacers. no one should ever run their stem up that hight. it just dnt make no sense...

and the color is just about right, the flash lights up the frame for the most part and the walls are really yellow in the hallway.
