Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? for the 650c front haters!

so I got a 650c front wheel nothing exciting but I was kinda excited for BAR SPINS BABY!
so I put my wheel on spin the bars bam! all the way around . RAD!

So I ride it around and it feels cool not weird at all.

so here comes the wheelie bars spin............

..................................................Good wheelie. spin the bars.........................................

and BAM! ...............DAMN! toe OVERLAP!

my dreams are crushed for now.

you have toe overlap with a 650c front?
…that is some tight geometry!

I'm guessing the overlap happens when the fork is reversed

on the returning half of the bar spin, there is over lap if you arent at the right part of the crank rotation.

try using a smaller cage, like run a md if you normally run a lrg. just a suggestion, no need for everyone to riot now.

I just found out yesterday that a pista with a 23 on a 700c can do barspins. I had a barspinning fiesta

There will more than likely be overlap always. Just put your feet at 12 and 6 - I've got 170 cranks on my angus and can still do them with ease...

*it's easy to learn them by rolling backwards first so your overlap is even more obsolete...

i meant, of the toe overlap and the falling.

go do it again, this time with a camera. do it a few times, and choose the best shot.
