Can anyone tell me where to get a top-tube protector that matches my new spoke card I got on ebay? They both need to match my rattle canned quill stem and nitto cow horn bars...

in the 10 seconds it took to flame him for a legit Q, you could've answered the question.

*golf clap* for you

In all fairness, the Bike Forums search function is virtually useless. But, in the future, if you want to avoid the immature chides from random Internet strangers try using a search engine. You can use something like "site:bikeforums.net spoke card" with Google to search BikeForums specifically for a keyword as well instead of using BF search.

Dude didn't even know they're called "spoke cards." How's he supposed to search for them?

Bikes: yes

you get spoke cards at races, and sometimes at other bike related events. but mostly, races. they have a number on the back, and an image on the front. sometimes, the number is used to meaningfully track a racer in some way, but mostly, the spokecard is an informal trophy, a memento or souvenier. a participation award. some people stick em in their spokes and keep them there (i do - i like them), other people put them on their bulletin board at work as a conversation starter. "hey, what's that up there?" "none of your damn business. leave me alone and search google."

You also get spoke cards for using BF as an outlet for your overflowing testosterone.

Might have taken him a few tries but I think he'd have gotten it. Personally I'm all for hearing the same questions over again to a certain extent - forums are supposed to be active communities, not repositories. In the same token flaming comes with the territory, no one, newbies and experts alike should be getting their panties in a twist over something like this.

I like Tiger Sauce on chicken, steak (though I don't eat beef anymore), and some fish. Tapatio rocks on pizza. I think they'd both work on spoke cards though.
