Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Would you like some Dunks with that commodified culture?

First Nike takes over Wookie Pube Culture, what's next? Could they possibly break into the underground, counter-culture world of fixed-gear bicycles?!?! Our cultures not for sale man!!!

I think you're reading way too far into the complexity of my 3 minute photoshop job. I got a laugh out of someone saying "wookie pube culture is not for sale!" on a past thread in response to a classic "Such and such corporation is co-opting bike culture" post. I made the picture for my own entertainment, as a silly portrayal of the silly attitudes of the silly people in subcultures and because wookie pube culture is funny. The title was a play on, as doofo so kindly pointed out, another thread titled "Would you like a track bike with that condominum" or something to that effect.

Laugh with me at the idea of Nike co-opting wookie pube culture, or don't, but don't worry about "not caring" about the issues behind this thread cause well ... there are none.
