Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

yea I have both
toshi are the closest thing to clips you will find.
toshi singles are pretty stiff and nice as well but doubles kinda rule.
and 20 bucks is nothing after you realize how much better they are.

this has nothing to do with your straps... but some chump came into the shop i work at and wanted a super cheap wheel built up... so we recycled his old rim and i sold him a suzue junior for like 30 bucks. i build his wheel and the dude shows up with a bunch of parts from another shop (already stupid) and he ****ing bought campy record laminated straps for 50 bucks. who spends more money on straps than hubs for their first ghetto conversion?
