Bikes: bfssfg iro--black.

i just called iro... they told me they're getting them in the first week and the frames will be sent out in the second week.

it seems like it's just getting pushed further and further back.

Regaurding combined shipping:

Stuart Navy wrote:
Hi. I wanted to combine the two frames I got into one shipment but the discount code only works with one frame at a time. I'd REALLY like to save on shipping and have my two frames shipped together. How can we work this out?
I ordered one blue 59cm threaded and one black 59cm threadless. And I only want seat post collars for both of them.
Thanks for your time!

--------

We will combine shipping and charge the card for one shipping price.

That's just the way the business world works. I'm used to it. For these discount deals, sometimes you just have to wait. If you want instant gratification, there's always the LBS.

Any 1 1/8" non-integrated threadless headset will work fine. Ask at your local shop or they are readily available online. If you never have installed one before, you may wish to consider having a shop do it.

yes the shop will install it, but I want to get it on ebay because it is the fraction of the price, and heard that the fsa orbit is not that good.
S-8 for 29usd shipped is not bad...

I'm using a Miche Primato Pista that comes in the gruppo, but I'll put a King on it later on down the line(when I need to buy something new).

Have you seen the custom stems that World Class Cycles? Real nice.

https://www.worldclasscycles.com/custom_stems.htm

If I like the IRO green, I'll have one made for it. There's nothing better than spending $320 on a stem, for a $150 frameset.

Ok---So if I plan on getting wheels spaced at 120mm and am using a sugino rd2 crankset, I should get a 103mm bottom bracket, not 110, correct?

103 should give me a 42 chainline, yes?

A 1 1/8" threadless headset will fit a 1 1/8" threadless headtube/fork...thats how it works.

Ok, I payed the remainder. Now to see if the 53[aka 49] is going to be to small. If so, I'm probably going to get a soma fork 1" unthreaded and make this my threadless, so I can add some spacers. Other options.... build this bike up for a friend, trade with someone that has 56cm or sell. I'll see what I will do when it comes. In the meantime, I'm not too worried since I built up a new bike back in April.

Urban legend, maybe. I think I saw it in Readers Digest or some other silly magazine. One Sears automotive center kept running an add with the wrong phone number. The guy would call them and say, "you're add has my home phone number in it." After several months that they didn't fix it, he decided to play along. One week everyone who called for an oil change was booked for 3PM Friday.
