120mm vs 90mm

Edited: Do you guys 30mm would make that much of a difference? You see the frame I have now (59cm) makes me feel a little stretched. The bike came with a 120mm @ 84º, but I bought another stem of the same lenght but at 17º. Maybe I should've gotten a shorter one since there is no rise in this one which makes it parallel to the top tube making me stretch over the mentioned top tube. I want to keep 0 rise of the stem but maybe shortened it a little so I'm thinking of a 90mm(or maybe even a 100mm). What do you guys think?

Either pick up a cheap one, or ask your LBS to let you try one out. Maybe a 90mm will fit like a glove, maybe a 100mm will.. won't know until you try.

Yes, 3 cm of stem makes a big difference.

30mm is like the difference between race-day position and relaxed cruising

Or race-day to completely unrideable (3cm is a huge amount).

Yeah, I think 2cm (20mm) should be enough for me to feel comfortable.

You'll be surprised! I just switched a 10.5 cm stem to a 9cm and it's much more relaxed.
