Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Which bar should i get?

So i bought the Soma 456 "track" bar, and i like it, but it's not exactly the shape i like. I was looking for something that really has that nice shape with the long curving top bar and a really nice drop to it. So i found 2 bars that i think are going to work. I need some feedback either for or against either one of the two. Thanks.

jdb.

Soma Bonzo bars.

bonzo bars are completely ridiculous. the drop is insane. the ones I have are so deep they hit the downtube and with a drop stem go about 2-3 inches past the fork crown.

Are you flexible enough to realistically handle the deeper drops for an extended amount of time? If not, neither offer much in the way of shoulders to ride on. Just something to consider.
