why don't they put one on... even if they are just on the track??

usually on the track you slow down gradually enough
that the pressure isn't enough to unscrew the cog...

tying and soldering was a pretty normal thing to do to stiffen up the wheels.

they should slap a mash sf sticker on the headbadge and maybe put a aerospoke front.
