Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Bikes: generic lugged track frame

non standard track frames (gt khs etc)

I was wondering what track frames out there aren't the normal 2 triangle, straight tube, horizontal top tube design.

gt: the seat stays connect to the top to somewhere in front of the down tube
khs aero track from late 90s? has the sloping top tube that is lower towards the front of the bike
sannino pursuit frame: top tube is curved

any others?

Corima, BT, there are tons...Moyer makes some sick stuff too. Old Wiggins with the curvy seat and chain stays...hell, I could go on for days.

trackies like change less than roadies, but there's some uci rule (in the past 5 years) that defines what a bike should be (for uci sanctioned races). even the obree superman is no more. <sniff>

Don't forget all the funky chainstay additions for stiffness, curved top tubes, split seat tubes, curved seat tubes, fork mounted handlebars, y shaped seat stays, seat tube-less frames, the list is endless.

Anyone remember the Vanilla from last year with the curvy stays? That is a pretty bike.
