Crankset Help

I got a 2006 Bianchi San Jose. It's got the wheelset from the 06 Pista so I've got the flip-flop wheels. I ordered some pedals (MKS Lites) but rode the cheap plastic ones the bike came with waiting for the new ones to show up. I messed something up and wound up stripping the threads that the pedal goes into on the crankset. Looks like I've gotta buy a new crankset now. I have no idea what to get. I don't know which size either, I've got whatever comes standard on the 55. Any suggestions?

If you bought the bike from a reputable bike shop this should be a warrantee item (assuming you didn't try to wrench on the bike yourself)
