And once again, anyone with the kind of skills required to do all this work would be much better off making their own frames rather that converting old road bikes for some dangerous and elaborate scam.

Someone could possibly fall for it, but if that's the case, then yes, they are beyond help and deserve what they get.

I think im gonna go to that Yamaguchi school so i can learn to expert build. Then buy up a **** load of Murrays and make em into Nagasawas. Lickety split.

I think the worst thing that's going to happen is someone sticks on a tubing sticker that shouldn't be there, and that's more prevalent with the vintage bike crowd than anythign else (Reynolds 531 on a gaspipe frame, for example).
