Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

You keep bringing that up, but we were all notified as to how long it was going to take for these bikes to get made. And I really can't imagine that it could have been done faster. It was what, a four-five month wait?

I just don't think it's a legitimate area of criticism or complaint.

That said, the paint IS total crap. And I've decided that I like my KHS frame a whole lot more (mostly sentimental value) and will be swapping all the components back and selling my IRO to my friend.

i guess my post was super unclear then. my point was, basically, that a 4 month wait for an iro frame warrants a massive discount. no it wasn't a surprise, no i'm not complaining -- and no, i wasn't even impatient waiting for the frame, as we all knew the timeframe -- but it should definitely be taken into account as a major reason for the discount we received.

Your sense of entitlement is simply shocking. You sound like a spoiled little brat who has never had to wait for anything, ever. The McDonald's generation comes home to roost.
