Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Cayne Uno, decent? who makes it?

I just bought one of these used for my commute, I really like it, for some reason it seems faster than the slick tire geared MTB I was running before, a nice thing! I bought it to try fixed (dont like it) (so I run singlespeed) and to have a "maintenance free" ride to commute with, so far so good. Anyone know who makes these things & where they're made? The steel ride feels really nice!

Bikes: Old-ass gearie hardtail MTB, fix-converted Centurion LeMans commuter, SS hardtail monster MTB

They are made in Taiwan/China/elsewhere, the magical land where low-cost, moderate-quality goods come from.
