Hey guys Im still searching for a frame
I found this on ebay: https://cgi.ebay.com/57cm-KHS-Flite-1...QQcmdZViewItem

I was wondering if bidding $250 was too much? Because I know the mercier kilo tt is the same frame as the KHS Flite. But I added it up and it came out to be the same.

For instance:
Kilo tt from Bikeisland - $145
Track fork - $50
Chris King headset - $50
BB - $20
= ~$275
And that's not including shipping. And taking it to the bike shop to get the parts installed.

The KHS on ebay would prob end at the same around $275 huh? But the ebay bike doesn't require me to assemble the parts. So im still pondering.

Anyways I was wondering does anyone know where I can get a track fork for cheap? Like the ones that have low rake (more steep)? I need one below $50 if possible. I think I will just be going with the kilo TT as my new frame.

where are you getting a king headset for 50?

and shipping is going to tack on 50 bucks, which is kinda crap when BD does it for free or 25 bucks on auctions.

well, that frame is also used. but if u can use the BB/headset/stem then maybe its a decent deal. and if u like the color/logos. remember if you buy your own frame you still have to go to the LBS and get them to install the headset (most likely) and that will cost you a little too..

yeah unless you have a headset press, which is an expensive tool, or the use of one, you should expect to pay some money to have things installed.
