Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Dream I had

Last night I had a dream that I was riding through Denver and couldn't get past this city bus. It kept swirving over to me every time I'd try to make a move.

Finally, pissed, I jumped in (somehow entering through the back of the bus) and the driver was quite perturbed. "What's the deal!", I yelled. The driver would not tell me why he kept trying to run me off the road. The bus was full of people and there was one other guy, a passenger, who was in particular also disturbed at me and threw several intense glares my way. I could not figure out why these two were hatin on me.

Then I woke up.

I don't know what it means. But it made me chuckle.

no one wants to hear
what you dreamt about unless you dreamt about them

don't let that stop you
tell them anyway
and you can make it up as you go

Yesterday I had a dream that the RA of my floor wrote me up for keeping multiple bikes, a stand, and tools in my dorm. Why? I have no idea. Made me laugh though.

i got written up for keeping my bike in my dorm freshman year.
my advice: get an apartment. or better yet, a house. college is a lot more fun underneath your own roof.

Thanks. I talked to my RA, and he said as long as it's in an area that it is not a fire hazard, its ok. My Kilo TT is coming today, and its supposed to rain here tonight, so it's definitely stayin' in the dorm tonight.

seriously, you should always keep your bike locked up in your dorm... to your bed. i had two bikes jacked from me when i lived in the dorms. i kept one locked up on the bike rack outside, they broke the masterlock with something to get the bike. the other one that was stolen was locked up the common room of my floor, to a window frame. i have no idea how they took it, but it was gone one morning. these were just my beater bikes, but still dorms are really bad places for theft.

Wow, I'll remember that, thanks. People are pretty careless at my school, locking only their front QR wheel to a post or tree.

I had a crazy dream that I was being tortured for a long time and the lady that was doing it was keeping me alive by feeding me meat off of my back. She was eating it to, to make things worse. IF anyone has ever heard of "The Wizards First Rule" it was Danelle, that part of the book really messed me up.

I always have dreams of the supernatural being mean to me. Like moving stuff in my way to block an exit and stuff. What does that mean? Am I crazy?

Time for meds yet?
