I'm new here so I've never seen this thread until now. Frick. Sooo many good looking bikes. A++ thread, would read again.
fwiw, here's my bike back when it was a roadie. I was aiming for a cleaner fixed gear style (pretty stripped down)

Damn that's nice. I'd love to turn a road bike into a 'fixie style' look. I'm not knowledgeable enough though and I'm afraid I'd just end up downgrading the bike significantly or wasting my money. I'm not racing triathlons here or anything so I'm always okay with a little weight for a better look

Don't know if it has said style, but because I previously had it as fixed, hopefully it'll count The monster has sold out and crossed into gear land, but it's for better small hauling purposes

Loooove that Surly, as well as the Centurion. Looks like you could haul loads with the former and haul ass with the latter.

Can we officially make "gay" the equivalent of "bad?" ( like, "...not bad meaning bad, but bad meaning good..." H/T RunDMC)
I just want to be all, "that **** was totally gay!," but in a really complimentary way... If for no other reason than to confuse the homophobes. FWIW, I'm straight, but that leather dude is totally gay!(that is to say, awesome)
Much luv (and a dose of hate for the small-minded)
