I've been getting a lot of flats on the back of my bike recently and yet I've checked the tire, etc and it seems solid. What kind of tires do you guys run on the rear? I want something strong and thick with good puncture protection and a long skid life. Sorry if this is hard to find. I've heard mixed reviews on the everlast tires and have considered gatorskins, but was unsure whether they were long lasting or just very puncture resistant. Thanks.
anyway if it helps i just ordered some continental gatorskins.

During the past 5 years I've been riding my fixed gear every day or every other (skidding a lot).
My advice would be BLB black mamba.
The downsize, this are made in London and the shipping from Brick Lane Bikes is 50 pounds. If you have any way to go around this expense, or if you can afford it, these are by far the best I've had.
Hope this helps.

If you are looking for a slightly larger city tire, specialized threshold 28c is great, super grippy and have never had a flat
