Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

if you were a self-conscious teenager who wanted a hipster to smile at you, you'd happily fork over $175 extra of your parents money

they also appear to be selling Campy BMX cranks (to be fair, with a king headset) for $300. Those Campy cranks used to be pretty cheap.

Bikes: bfssfg iro--black.

that mark up is a lot like how some bfssfg members sold their group buy frames on ebay for over three hundred doll hairs.

I'm going to start buying up early 90's Scott aero bars (the big one piece things). Those are totally going to be the next hot trend in handlebar trends.

Free Market Economy. Nothing wrong with that.

The price will come down if nobody buys them at the current price. That's sort of how it works.

Yeah, like 20 years ago. Good luck finding them for less than $150 now.

I found this ebay store specializing in NOS stuff, and they had the weirdest aerobars I've ever seen. It's like they're tinker toys, and you have to build them yourself.

I mean if all these "aero trends" are catching on with wheels ie heds, zipps, aero spokes, it's only a matter of time before aero bars make their market and we see bullhorns get their time trial attachments.

oddly enough, I have 3 pairs of these, I chopped a pair into some ugly goofball bullhorns and they were really fun until I moved into the city.

now they sit in the basement.
