Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I thought about getting some of those soma walker bars for my bike. I was trying to build something classic looking, but I decided that was too classic.

Bikes: recumbents

my old roommate had some BONZO bars. they suck. the reach is too far and the drop is too deep.

That's the whole idea. They're designed for riding track, not University Avenue.

well if you're riding a bike that only has a fist of seatpost showing like they used to fit them in the old days then they could work good. if not, then they most likely aren't that good for riding track either.

Nice. Check out that fork rake, and the boots, and that sweet, full brimmed hat.
