Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yeah, I bought a dozen of those ^^^ from Nashbar for $24 each and paid for a new bike selling them on ebay. Some dude in Japan gave me $202 for a perforated one. It was so sweet.

Why has no-one mentioned a white Rolls? Re: protecting the white: Don't ride in blue jeans. or black.

I heard from the grapevine that sitting on a supercorsa is like sitting on a anvil.

I've got one of those, but leather on the nose is all torn up. Probably from being tossed in a trash can full of sharp metal objects where I found the bike it's on. So sad, it's an otherwise seksy lookin saddle.

riding with jeans ain't a big deal - just wipe down with a wet rag and a little soap when it gets too grotty. I think classic fans call the staining "beau sausage"

There are places that re-leather a brooks. A place in town here will do it for $40. I bet they have white leather.

no, a pink stem with green polkadots. i don't know what the hell it is, but I'm guessing a custom - 2 pinch bolts, filet brazed steel unchromed. It came with the Cinelli bars that all the kids like to pay $200 for. i nabbed the bar, stem, and the 151bcd pista cranks off a bike my buddies and i parted out. the frame matches that stem - pink w. a green splatterjob. they belong together, but i need the bars + stem.

I'm kinda on the hunt for a Cinelli steel stem, but they're just too damn pricey. just like those elusive white saddles .

mark my words - sometime in the next 2 years, all the italian saddle companies will get their heads out their butts and start reissuing classics. no cutouts, no cheesy tekno-grafiks and embroidery, no carbon. just clean looking saddles in good colors. for the love of big baby jeebus, do i really need to go to italy and rant at them in person?

Edit: Nevermind, this is nothing of what you're looking for. My bad.
I have a white Toupe on my street fixed. I love it. Very comfortable and light as well.

Just FYI: judging by the pic that is the saddle made by Velo that gets branded and rebranded to like 100 different names (Well, they do have different paddings and covers to be fair). There's a cromo rail version and a Ti rail version.
I have one with a BBB logo (anatomicdesign). Pretty decent and very light for $30, but not what I'd call comfy.

Edit: sorry, I have a Ti rail Acor now... I sold the BBB earlier, that is also the same thing w/ a diff. cover. They confuse the hell outta me.
