Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

My son is great...

He is almost 5 and he just said to me "I told mommy to buy you a new chainring and chain for the bike your building" I laughed and told him he was the best.... God I love him

I hope he meant a Sugino ring. If not, you should withhold food for a day.

Hmmm, I have 5 and 3 year old girls. How do you feel about arranged marriage? And yeah, you're right about 5 and 3 yr olds.

Talk to me in about 20 years, or 30 years if they take after me
Then we'll discuss the geographical problem, how often you'll need to fly in to visit, and the fact that I'm very traditional and will expect you as the father of the brides to pay for both weddings.
Once that's settled, we'll discuss how me as a 60 year old (at that time) will do a wheelie on a fixed gear down the isle with my boys.
---so much to look forward to !!

As long as you aren't so traditional that I'll have to give you cows or something. I don't really have any cows, maybe I could just give you some bikes or something.
