Frame size question for Pista owners

I've been trying to hunt down a Bianchi Pista to go size up and I found one at a bike shop... Deal is it's a ways away. The guy tells me he has a couple 57's in stock. I was on a 59 Steamroller the other day and it was at the margin. The LBS guy tells me the Pista seems a little bigger and that for my size, he thinks a 57 might be the deal. Obviously I need to go sit the saddle and see. I'm 6'0" right on and have a 32 inseam. I was wondering what you are on and what's your height/inseam? That might give me a litmus test idea whether it's worth the drive to go look at what he has. Also, are you happy with the one you have? Seems most are so I've heard.. Thanks..

5'8" 30" inseam riding a 53cm.

After swapping the seat and adding a front brake, I'm very happy with it.

I'm 6'1" and I have a 32" inseam. The 57cm Pista/Pista Concepts fit me perfectly.

I've owned a 59cm steamroller. It was too big for me.

6 ft, 33 inch inseam and the 57 Pista fits me like a body condom.

I'm 6'2" with a 33.5" inseam. When i had a pista it was a 61cm which felt way too big. it was definitely pushing it. If i had to do it again, i would've went with the 57.....

Bikes: lots

I imagine you could stand over either bike so Look less at the seat tube length and more at the top tube. I am 6' 2" with something like a 33" inseam and I have a 59cm frame. I'm sure you could make either one work with the right stem.

6'2 and had a 57 pista that was too small for me. Longer rides were pretty hellish.

I stand 6'2", but I have a long torso and short legs for my height.

I have a 32" inseam.

I ride a 59, and it looks small to me, but if fits just right with a 35mm set back seatpost.

If I went any smaller, I would have issues with the length of the top tube; but then, I don't like a lot of weight on the front wheel, and I set up my street bike a little like a mountain bike, with a light front and heavy rear.

If you have a 32" inseam, or greater, the 59 will allow a comfortable standover.

If you don't have too long a torso, and like the conventional riding weight distribution, the 57 would probably work even better.

5' 9", 30" inseam, 55cm. It fits quite well. It's higher than my 53 roadie but not even noticeable.

Sorry to buck the trend ... but I'm 5' 8 1/2" and ride a 55. And I have a 110 or 120 stem. Both my Bianchi pistas fit fine.
