patches for messenger bag
My roommate got a timbuk2 bag from his work today with the companies logo sewn in -- he gave the bag to me and I need something to cover the logo up. Anyone know of a place to get some cool patches or ideas otherwise to cover this up.

Bikes: Ebay Bikes... =)
get a patch with just the letters " BC " on it, and another patch with " 1% " ....
Stands for " Bicycle Club" , it'll be a play on the " MC " which is popularly used by 1% motorcycle clubs ( typically gangs) but not always the case - anyway ------- that would rock. 1% means its not like the rest..... so it is supposed to be hard-core and not to be messed with.
teehee =)

If it's sewn in, a seam ripper or in a pinch, a razor blade should make short work of it. If you have little pinholes left in the fabric, you can let them wear out on their own, or just wash the bag - it probably needs it if it was used by someone else.
As for patches, the sky is the limit. If I put on my cynical hat and ironically look into my hipster crystal ball, I see scouting stuff, anything that is from 70's motoring/cb culture, and possibly something corporate, but meaningless without context. I'd suggest avoiding military and police badges you didn't actually earn.

(you are basically pushing the weave back together where the holes have pushed them apart, sewing does not create holes but just push the fabric apart)

a 4x4 woodstock would be great.
