40 bucks for Nitto b123
I could get nitto b123 38mm bars with champ grips on them for 40, I like those bars and was wondering if this is a good deal, any ideas?
|
It's a good deal. Considering champ grips themselves are like $20.
|
You definitely need these if you have a Schwinn Varsity conversion.

hahaha
i'd spend more money on the 123aa's because steel bars are heavy which is only good if you like that feel. i think that with handlebars more than anything else you should actually be able to hold the bars in your hands before you spend more than ten bucks on them. |
that would have been such a witty comeback if I did in fact have a varsity conversion, but I do not so as my mom used to say "if you don't have anything nice to say, shut the **** up."
|
your mom has a dirty mouth.

I have a leader that I am very happy with, I used t ride a Diamondback conversion though.
Bonechilling I overreacted that I will admit so my bad, hopefully there are no hard feelings. |
is yours the one with the black and red tt protector?
irregardless(ha what a stupid word), that was a funny thing to say even if you don't have a varsity. |
the tt protector is black and orange, but yea I am pretty sure you are thinking of the right one. (It's not the prettiest bike but I like it none the less.)
|
pics? does leader have a website?
|

i've got alu bars on an alu stem at the moment, and its just flexy enough that i tend to hold back a little in a full blown sprint. but i mean, this is all assuming that carbon drops aren't magically granted to me for cheap monies. |
AL frame = stiff
steel bars = stiff |
It's a good deal. I paid $50 for my 123s (either 34 or 36 mm, can't remember which one I decided on), without grips.
