Converting to QR
Heya,
Want to convert my front hub (suntour superb) to QR axle. Anyone done this before?
any QR axle will do or specific one for specific hubs? I have a shimano QR axle will this fit the suntour?
Cheers,
Dubbo.

You only really need to worry about matching the correct threading. I would assume, as they are Japanese hubs, that you could use your Shimano axle. No harm in taking off a locknut and cone and seeing if they fit.

Even if your locknuts thread on, your cones might not. It depends on the precision of the threading. I had an issue where I bought an ISO solid rear axle for an Italian threaded disc wheel, because the locknuts were able to thread on. It wasn't till I tried the cones that they wouldn't fit. So test it!

You have to take the whole thing apart anyway to repack. Might as well kill two birds with one stone.
