What does 'all the way in' mean ?
Does that mean the wheel is as far forward as it will go (towards the front of the bike) or as far backward as it will go (towards the rear of the bike) ?
If the wheel is as far forward as it will go - you will likely need to put a link or two extra into your chain.

Increasing the teeth on your cog by one, while keeping chain length constant, will move the rear axle 1/8 link forward (half of half a link). A link is an inch, so it's 1/8 of an inch. An inch is 2.54 cm, so it's about 3.2mm.

this thread is OD....so, you're not gonna use the cog if you have to make a chain adjustment? try it and see what happends...if you need to adjust chain length, do it

I don't think I said anywhere that I wouldn't use the cog if I had to make a chain adjustment..I was just seeing if I had to make a chain adjustment...Anyways, the axle right now is just about to the back of the drop out (backward not forward)and I believe I'll have plenty of space. I was just double checking
