110bcd does narrow it, but if you use the rocket ring and just get a new one every so often, your good to go. Hell, the rocket ring isnt more than $15.
|
There are a million chainrings out there in 110 and 130, many for under $30. Skip the rocket rings and get something decent. 47t is hard to find, but you don't need it, you'll be fine with 8 skid patches I promise.

What other chainrings do you all recommend at either 110 or 130?

^I saw your bike on VeloSpace. That bike looks really nice. I bought the same black chainring. I think I may go ahead and get some bulletproof cranks later this week when I head back up to Atlanta.

Maybe something within you budget here:http://www.loosescrews.com/index.cgi...d=676209424307
BTW I run bulletproof cranks and sugino chainring and it has been doing the job very well for a while now. |
^^^The Salsa are good. The Vuelta are a piece of crap.
My recommendation is the Surly stainless steel. But they come in 110 BCD only. And are $40 at JensonUSA, but they are foreverware. |
I found that the rocket rings were cheap, but wore out really fast, which leads to worn out chains and cogs. This kind of ruins the economy factor. I've had better luck with the 110 bcd salsa chainrings.
