Fixed gear riding and unicycling
Does anyone have or ride a unicycle? How hard was it to learn?
Did you learn to ride it after you started riding fixed gear?
Does or did riding fixed gear help as far as transferrable skills?

Bikes: Ebay Bikes... =)
I learned to ride Uni after riding fixed.
The difficulty level was equal to that of learning to ride a bicycle. My best suggestion is to have 2 friends, one on either side, you use your arms to hold on to them as you move forward, walking for blocks at a time... slowly releasing your grip on them, eventually you only use 1 friend, and then eventually you just go all by yourself.
Expect to be all on your own within 3 days if you practice consistently.
there is no transferrable skills from FG to uni besides spinning the cranks.
also, it is easier to learn on a 20" wheel than on any larger size...
