What to do with the dummy lever
For people that are running two aero brake levers with with only one of them used for the brake and the other being used just for the hand position in the hoods - do you connect anything to that dummy lever?
Parachute? Bell? Air horn? Strobe light? Spraypaint? Jet engine?
Seems like this has a lot of potential, kinda like the "what do I put on the shifter bosses on my conversion frame" question.

A couple of my friends used one to rig up an airhorn for part of their bike's costume during a halloween alley cat, which I thought was pretty cool. I'm sure it could be pretty practical in certain situations, like freaking the hell out of unwary pedestrians and motorists.

I'm not sure how to do it but there's a way to use the cables from a bmx detangler(gyro) or you could buy one of these https://www.ebikestop.com/items/004-BR3341and make either brake lever operate the brake

A variation of an idea someone gave me a while ago. Set up a pair of long reach calipers over the rear wheel. Instead of brake pads, attach baseball cards so that when you pull the lever the cards go flapping in the spokes.

Lever to front derailuer attached to chainstay-to baseball card. Sounds like a good alternative to a bell

actually this dude I met one time had those fake brake levers that you sometimes see in the stoker of a Tandem. They look just like brake hoods with a sawed off brake lever that's fixed in place. I thought those were pretty sweet.

Woah, I like this. Should be easy to rig the lever up to a three-way mounted on the bars that runs to a pneu-mag setup mounted on your helmet. You could even use a Q-loader so it'd be possible to reload without having to take your helmet off. Then obviously you'd have a remote running to the air source in your chrome bag.
This is all, of course, ignoring what a horrible idea it is to have a paintball gun rigged up to your dummy lever.
