Here is the list.
A good deal of the major manufacturers. A number of smaller ones. Any custom builder. A bunch of no names constantly rebadged. What a weird thread. |

While the great wisdom of Sheldon must be respected lest the universe tilt off kilter, I still vote that a list of track bike manufacturers would be at least marginally useful, or at least a list of quality builders as voted on by the bike forums populace. of course there could be divisions for entry-level, mid-range etc... perhaps a new thread. and yes by all means a list simply of bikes with track dropouts is useless. But a list of true track bikes and possibly even the best horizontal dropouts--which are safer, would be a nice "search for thread moron" landmark---seeing as there are debates in nearly every "I'm building a fixed gear thread"... as to what is the better frame/the same frame, etc.

i agree with yoshi. your best bet is to do a search on craigslist with search terms like "track" "fixed" "single" "fixie". to peruse the listings and try to locate recognizable bike models will take you forever...
which bordering states specifically are you searching? if you find something interesting, run it by us first. you sound like a newbie, and could potentially get ripped off. PM me if you prefer.

What i'm trying to do since you're especially intrigued, is look for brands that made frames with track ends, because I'm searching craigslist in 3 bordering states looking for a bike. I believe trek made one, not sure who else, thats why I was looking for the list. And I promise you, the page does exist |
