List of Track frames

Can someone point me to a list of track frame.

I believe there is a list floating around, just can't seem to pin point it.

Or better wording would be, a list of bikes with track ends.

Thanks!

Brett

Also, I've spent a good deal of time looking for a specific section of Sheldon Browns site for a page where type of bike are broken down into 4 columns, including Road, touring, classic, and track, they're each in their respective columns.

Can anyone help me find this page

In particular, I want to find the page on the website that has 4 columns, 4 different colors, and has track, touring, road, and classic bikes. Then it goes about listing different manufactures and shows a picture of the bike and model. Its basically a virtual glossary.

Sheldon browns site, while a great resource is an endless circle, and I'm trying to find that one particular page

it doesn't exist, and it probably wouldn't be especially useful. do you want a particular sort of bike?

Can someone provide me with a list of people named Dave? The phone book is no good, it's alphabetized by last name.

In the most repectful manor, How are you going to tell me that a page I've been to doesn't exist.

What i'm trying to do since you're especially intrigued, is look for brands that made frames with track ends, because I'm searching craigslist in 3 bordering states looking for a bike. I believe trek made one, not sure who else, thats why I was looking for the list.

And I promise you, the page does exist

Why don't you just search craigslist for "track" or "fixed-gear?" Trek makes one track bike as far as I know, so if you search for "Trek" on craigslist you are just going to get a ton of mountain bikes and road bikes. Same with most companies.

It's somewhat of a silly question and it doesn't seem like the list will really help him out at all. You'll notice my second reply is serious and not snarky. He's much better off just searching for "track" or "fixed-gear" than specific models of bikes (unless he is looking for a particularly model which clearly he is not).

the surprising thing, at least for this forum, is that no one's posted a stupid picture

and said "USE THE SEARCH!"

yeah I said that before I saw your non-snarky reply...sorry yoshi, I had my quick reply thing open in another window for a while, and I thought he was looking for some obscure trek model which as you pointed out he is not

Track Bikes

Building a list of every available track frame is silly, but now that I've started...
Anchor - Bridgestone's beautiful track bike, in standard, sprint and TT (see Euro-Asia Imports)
Atherton - Boyd Atherton makes a fine track frame in North Texas
Aquila - steel and aluminum offerings from Toronto, Canada
Benotto - Mexico's finest. Available through Trackbikesource.com
Bianchi - Pista is a classic, 2003 designis identical to the FUJI TrackPro, only in flat black and celeste
Bilenky - custom singles (Record and Daily Planet) and tandems from Pennsylvania
BTA Track Bikes - Bike Technologies Australia, official team bike for: Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and China
Brew Racing Frames - Steve Garn makes a damn fine track frame in North Carolina
Calfee Designs - order the Pista Royal Track - light like no other.
Campbell-Cunefare - compact frames - official frame of the USPS Masters team
Cannondale - is back in the track frame market with their CAAD5 "Major Taylor" model
Cervelo - famous for the P2T
Cinelli - classic track frames if you can find them
Colnago - Trialtir imports the Master X Light Pista, Master Pista, and Dream Pista
Condor - steel and aluminum from England
Corima - high-tech carbon fiber bikes and wheels from France.
DEAN - titanium one-off track customs
Eddy Merckx - Elite Piste is the current ride of Marty Nothstein
Ellsworth - Ramona, California
Gios - pista from Italy
Harry Havnoonian - makers of ALL sizes of track bike - from 16" to 700c wheels
Ibis Bicycles - (BANKRUPT) John Castellano will do repairs and warranty work.
FUJI Bicycles - the Track/Track SE, and new TrackPro in aluminum.
Javelin - their "Frisco" frame is popular
KHS Bicycles - entry-level steel track bikes like the Flite100.
Land Shark - TIG welded beauties from Oregon, USA
LOOK - the French National Team rides their KG 396 - good luck getting one
Litespeed - titanium at its best - track frames fall under the 'custom only ' category
Marinoni Bicycles - classic steel frames from Canada.
Pinarello - aluminum and steel classics out there
Rohloff - Chains, hubs and related stuff.
Serotta - I've got one. Love it.
Spectrum - Tom Kellogg's work is lovely
Spicer Industries - 6061-T6 aluminum track frames, complete parts selection.
Terry Dolan - Liverpool England
Torelli - classic Pista Speciale in Columbus steel
Vitus - aluminum track bikes
Waterford - straight-ahead design track bikes from Wisconsin, USA.

from the old velodrome website

Trek makes a bike called the T1 if you are looking for it, but if, as bward pointed out, you dont know how to use google...then I doubt you should get on a bike that costs more than your medication

The problem is that I spent an hour looking on the site for that specific page, and I was hoping that someone would be polite enough if they understood what I was talking about to post it, thats all, nothing too difficult. Its just frustrating that when someone asks for honest help, hes responded with mockery and sarcasm. Disappointing.

Bikes: IRO Angus; Casati Gold Line; Redline 925; '72 Schwinn Olympic Paramount

It's a ****ing HUGE list! That's the problem. There are so many small builders that may have made a few track frames, there are big builders that never made track frames, and now you can re-badge anything from a Taiwanese Nameless **** Factory as your own track frame.

Don't worry about this place too much. A ton of these kids used to get beat up by the popular crowd back in junior high and now they take it out on other people on the internet.

Bikes: iro mark v for street, sh itamori peloton for track

whoa, i thought it was because a lot of people on here were still in junior high.

it sounds like you're asking for a lot more than a pre-existing list. it sounds like you want a sheet laid out with in depth side by side comparisons of a multitude of variables.

y'know where you can find lists like those? video games. RPGs, mostly. Also in Dungeons & Dragons.

i've never played D&D, but holy crap would i rather be playing old Super Nintendo RPGs than sitting at this desk right now. and to those of you who say "no, you should go ride your bike," well bikes are stupid. this is bike forums. we've been over this.

basically, this list you're looking for isn't going to do you any more good than playing video games will.
