Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

same ****, same price though. To me it all came down to customer service. I ordered the wheels from there and things were great. I had a slight problem and it was fixed in a jiffy. So when it came to cranks I knew I wanted that crank that everyone is selling with their own logo on it so I decided to buy from Alien because the wheel purchase went so smoothly.

Alright, I have had the cranks for about 10 days now and love them. The only thing that sucks it that they are on my summer bike and we have too much snow to ride it now. From the riding I have done indoors they are awesome.

cool thing about those frames, I e-mailed them and Joe over there said they would custom powder coat in almost any color as well as have an option to ship the frame bare so someone could polish or paint it themselves. Looks like an interesting frame with some great lugwork I'm keeping my options open for sure. Also he said shipping to CA is around $30 so it shouldn't cost too much to get one either. Just thought I'd share the love.

i do like the fact that they keep their product branding to a minimum. of all of their products, only the hubs have a logo on it (from what i can tell from the website).

I have the wheels too, I was not to impressed by the quality of the rims. They have a rough seam and the paint isn't amazing, but the hubs are great and the black on black wheels look good to. For the price you can't beat them

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE UPDATE: Well i've got to say these cranks are the best deal on the internet. I've had them about a week now. if you can find them on ebay listed under "make an offer", you can offer them $69 ($10 less) and they'll accept your offer immediately. I love these cranks - they're on my new budget build and its a good feeling to have an awesome bike that you hardly spent anything on. They look great, too.
