Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

it looks wacky because the bike is at an angle combined with the fact that regals are wicked comfy when they are angled slightly down

53-22 sounds about right for snowy Missouri. 53-14 is cool. Real cool when you are pushing
it up a hill and an old lady on a 3 speed passes you.

It looks to just be at an angle. Do your eyes not register the 3rd dimension?

(Now you've got me looking at it closely and my eyes are hurting trying to picture it as both straight and at an angle.)

no. The bike would have to be facing the camera offset by about 15 degrees to have the perspective on the fender be that skewed.

I was just too perplexed by Straws' reply to answer.

Yea, it's pretty clearly knocked around the seatpost. I've got that type of fender. No idea why he thought I was talking about the bike's angle.
