haha I have that fender too but I didn't realize it was going to be icy today. When I left the house it wasn't snowing (the streets were perfectly dry) and I was thinking only flurries for today
Today's the 1st time, in a month I think, that the snow has finally stuck

Yep too lazy to look for a shim! It was getting dark too and 2.8 focal length an only get so much light! I did not have my flash with me that time!

Your neighborhood grocery store gives away an item called a "plastic bag" free with every purchase. Look into it.

Or ride with steel toe boots, so when you need to stop you can stick your foot into the spokes.

my new build (still ok i was going to keep it under wraps for a lil while longer, but i've decided to unveil the new(ish) bike.

i've had it for about 1.5 weeks now, and there are more parts on the way

but the build consists of (featuring borrowed parts from my nagasawa):

brand new 2005 fuji track pro
brand new sugino 75 bb
sugino 75 cranks + sugino 75 ring + eai 17t cog
36h da 7600 to non machined deep Vs + gatorskins
carbon post -> waiting on another one
turbo saddle -> waiting on another one
random stem -> waiting on deda netwon
b201 risers -> waiting on another one
hkk chain
new mks aluminum chain tensioners
gr9 pedals + small MKS clips + kashimax straps (waiting on straps)

unfortunately i couldn't keep my big mouth shut about the deal i got on the frame and two of my friends bought the same frame =\, one of which goes the same school as me. ohhhh well

Get a new fork for the Pake. They are crap. I changed mine out to a CF fork that I picked up and I love it so much more.
