Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? luckily it's my bike and not yours, because I really love it. I am terribly sorry it doesn't live up to your standards oh guru of track bike fashion with a hot pink vivalo who gets "giddy for njs parts." racing in Japan a lot are you? or are you just riding outdated technology because it's trendy?

This is great news...thanks much! We used a grease injector made by Phil Wood for Regina hubs. Works like a charm.

For what it's worth, that's one of the prettiest Pista Concepts I've seen. Nice photo as well.

Do people have nothing better to do than to disparage other peoples' bikes/styles? This "be nice" thing is brought up time and again and it sounds hackneyed by now, but what the hell. If you don't have anything intelligent, original or constructive to say, shut up. This isn't the "Give me advice about my bike because I think it's deficient in some way" thread. I'm sure walking disease has contemplated using bar tape before. You just make yourself look like a fool when you try to give someone on here advice that they don't actually need.

Because a constant ass kissing "oh your bike looks great" thread would get boring really quick.

i disagree. i always like seeing them on the street -- especially the DQM/Trackstar ones every once in a while in the Lower East Side. great looking frame, and great colors with this one, walking disease, though i still sorta miss the sputnik

Yeah, the bike is only 5 hours old right now. New cranks, seatpost and bars are pending. The saddle is surprisingly not bad for stock (San Marco Ponza).

Why would you buy a complete bike if you're going to swap out more than half the parts for carbon doodads? Why not just spend the price of the entire Madison on a semi-decent frame and rear wheel? Please? For now, please immediately return your bike to stock condition and turn over that fork to somebody slightly more sensible.

P.S. I will suck your ballz when you have a less tragic bike.
