i'm pretty sure campy never made gold track cranks. they are probably campy bmx cranks - which looked pretty much exactly like the track cranks but came in at 165mm on down(?).

Alright yeah, let's nitpick on the semantics. They're gold campy cranks.

That's a compliment in disguise, because the only gripe I have is with tire color. Seriously, why not go with all gray or all orange tires?
What is that orange rope near the seatpost on the first one?

Nice bikes, BTW.
That second one is awesome. If the frame was one of those curved seat tube KHS it would be really stunning.

Only fashionistas color coordinate their walls, bikes, and clothing. And mismatch tires are hella HOTT(aka the GAS), a tread in the front and slick n the back. Function over fashion, if only I could do this off the bike , damn those new loafers hurt my pocket.

All in good fun. I'm a bike fashionista if ever there was one. I blew threw the rear orange tire (a not-cheap Vredestein) and replaced it with what i had lying around. Need to find some cheaper orange tires. The orange jawn around the seat cluster is actually a string of buddhist prayer beads. Good to have in place of brakes.

Thanks to all for the complements on "Debbie". She's my baby and I've had her for years, and another courier had her for years before me. Just carrying the torch. I may however be selling the Surly (gray one) in the future as my bike armada grows. If anyone in the bay area's interested, pm me for a components list and price.

Mine was. Let's fight.

I'd always considered them nearly the same as the Campy track cranks, but you're right: the gold/blue ones are actually BMX cranks. On a semi-related note: anyone in the Bay Area want to trade a set of ANY 165 track cranks for either of my pairs (bmx or track) of 170 campy cranks? The infamous Surly low bb shell is killing my corners.

Bikes: Torker Cruiser, IRO, Airborne Titanium, 80's Bianchi

Been riding a bmx cruiser in SF since 99. Decided to get this IRO off a friend who decided to build a de bernari.. When I got it, it was black, had bull horns, black tires.. basically a blacked out IRO. I added some flavor to it, added the chrome bars, chromed out forks and rear frame drop down, and added some stickers. I also added a brake cause riding down Vermont St in SF daily is mighty treacherous!!

IRO MarkV 50cm with Bling Dipped
Velocity Deep V wheels IRO hubs
Sugino 75 track cranks
Soma Stem
Soma Drops with Yellow Tape
Fatlace Tagged, Reggae Fork Graphics
MKS Pedals & Cages with EAI straps
Cane Creek
Odyssey BMX front brake

friends de bernardi.

Alright spill it. What did you do to lose the IRO logo on the down tube? Does "bling dip" mean a whole new paint job?

The cranks are original but the color was a mishap. after soaking them for too long in a citrus based cleaner it anodized them almost XTR grey (Dooh) the outer ring was the big ring till I cut it down & rounded the edges.(thought it looked kinda cool) one of a kind like
