No, Ive never met Eugene? Been in SF for just over a year, dont know many people who ride fixies/track bikes. Id love to see his old bike, any pics online??

yeah Eugene works at HUF. He has been running that green bike with yellow deep v color combo for long time untill recently. He got a new bike, sold the old one and totaled the new one... sad.... glad he is alright. Welcome to sf jbaum.

Ben, you are not talking about the yamaguchi, right? i think he is still rocking those deep v's though, and the yamaguchi is super nice.

Eugenes yamaguchi..r.i.p.

His old repainted fuji was green with yellow deep v's. Sad about his new bike. I am down for rides also... i just got back from a good one.

what sort was his old yamaguchi? lugged or fillet-brazed? pursuit, regular?

here is a pic of his yamaguchi (i poached it from his myspace page). This bike is nor more - very sad. The green and yellow bike was his old bike he sold before he got this.

Nice colorway on the green/yellow, I've got something similar i'm building up. should be up soon.

I've seen some Yamaguchi being built up or tuned at Freewheel on Hayes. Those things are crazy sick.
