You forget... simple = sweet in many cases. Shiny cottered cranks and a flat black paint job are cool, too. And nice job protecting your carpet with pieces of cardboard.

Here's my UNO keirin frame. I had these Suntour wheels w/ eggplant Deep V's just laying around, I think it works well together. We'll see how the build goes.

Actually, I've heard from someone on the forums (C&V, maybe?) that he rides leather in the rain, and it does fine.
