It's reinforced everytime I look at the two inch gap above my tire. But thanks for rubbing it in. I really need that in my life.

Here's my first conversion.
Raleigh Competition '82.
The frame is pretty nice 531 w/suntour dropouts. I might repaint. I'm not sure if a like the miami vice scheme.

Mine's purple and pink, go figure. I like Colnago and Pinarello pastel bikes too, lol.

Thanks I originally had a yellow and orange thing going but my Ronald McDonald complex got the best of me
I did have it powder coated. That stem had a ton more drop then my last one and I really liked where my bars where positioned before so that is where it ended up.

Rattle can with lotsa prep time. Also ground off mounts for shifty bits and added cables stops on frame for rear brake along with rear brake v mounts. Had caliper style stamped steel brakes to start with. YUK!!

My junk yard Azuki 58cent frame and parts from the parts box. So far just using center gear of 5 speed free wheel and cut off large chainring. Shortened handlebar 2 1/2 inches each side and used Grip shift grips with front brake only. Rode it yesterday and it was fun, climbed very steep streets fairly easily and brake worked well. I can see the appeal for single speed bikes, I am 61 years old and this is fun.
