for all those curious as to what the mutant spawn of a bmx and a pista might look like, here's an early photo when i first got my 43cm fuji track se (2002 model) with 650 wheels. i stand 5 feet tall so this was the only stock complete i could find in my size.

Ok, I picked up a new singlespeed bike tonight (the Bridgestone MB-2), so I should post a shot of that. While I'm at it, I'll put up shots of my other two rides. The orange one is my main ride, it's a Fuji Track frame (2002 is my best guess) with the usual mix of acceptable but not crazy parts. I am proud of my rear wheel which is a Pro Max on an Open Pro rim. The blue/lavender one is a 1987 Fuji Tivoli. The saddle's been replaced with an old Concor Supercorsa and the bars are now a set of Deda's. It has a nice set of full coverage fenders for rainy days and the pedals are clips and straps now. 40/16 on the MB-2, 47/16 on the Track, 42/16 on the Tivoli.

unfortunately i don't have any pictures, but i currently have a nice single speed.
it's a redline monocog. i'm not sure what all of you think about those, cos all of yours are very nice.
but it's raelly all i can afford at the moment...however, i love it to death.

New to me: Van Dessel Country Road Bob
Carbon fork and aluminum frame
46T front on an 15yr old 175mm XTR crank
16t rear bmx cog screwed onto a Surly Flip Flop (still waiting for Miche parts for the fixed side)
Mavic CXP33 hoops laced with brass nips and straight 15 gauge champion spokes. Front hub is a Ritchey with a "skraxle"...not sure on that design but the price was right.
Bontrager 27.0 post
110mm Race Face stem
42cm wide bar
avid v brake brake hoods
avid 3 digit v brakes.
kenda mud cross on the back,
michelin mud cross on front.
Sella saddle.
goods: smooth ride, not sure if its the fork or all the bent tubes. Confident riding, solid. haven't raced it yet but it will serve backup bike status in the next few (i'll take the 46 down to a 42 first....)
bads: toe overlap when turning sharp. long cable housing on the bent top tube creates a lot of rear brake drag. i'll probably get rid of the rear brakes when i get my fixe kit though so it'll be a non issue.

Wow, looks AWESOME. The drops and keirin grips do wonders for it. I'm looking forward to seeing it in person.

But think how lonely the ped collectors are. Alone. In the closet. Being all retalitory in nature.
That aside, the bike looks great.

Skitbra - looking great! Those drops are beautiful, the grips suit you too.
[165] - I see that spokecard, quitter
Here's an updated pic of mine, now brakeless and clipless.
I love the way the bars look, but riding bare-handed today after a rain made for some slippery grip. $5 workingbikes special, stem and bars.
