left handed signaling is taught primarily for people operating cars that for some reason don't have signals. you have to use your left hand cause it's the one that sticks out the window. on a bike it's best to use whichever hand is most visable, and usually just better to point where you are going that to use to official signal cause seriously, how many people are gonna see a left hand bent at a 90 degree angle and say "yo, he's turning right"

that was listed a couple of times and never sold, each time I tried to devise some way to get it. I was going to ask my family in Zurich to pick it up for me but that never worked itself out. thats a beautiful bike, cant wait to see what you do with it.

What did you end up getting the Tommi for? I saw it on the bay, and the price and the 650 front ruined it for me. But, other than that it is a gorgeous frame. How are you going to build it up?

i have such a sick fetish for sloped tube TT bikes.. one of the sickest frames i think i've ever seen was this:



there was one on ebay in blue/white i think like a year ago. it was way too small for me but i almost talked myself into buying it just to hang on my wall and stare at all day.

I have the same frame & I love what you've done with yours. I was just wondering about your crank/chainring setup. That doesn't look like the stock one. Have you tried putting a larger chainring on it? IYO, how big a ring do you think that frame would take?

yeah, the 650c front makes for a few complications
...but i won't be racing at any uci events so its not a
problem for me. i want to build it up with some bullhorns,
like the drawing of the colnago a few posts back.

I just got back from the maiden voyage on the bareknuckle. I love it. I need to get used to toe overlap though. I don't have that on the conversion. Any, I love the way it rides. Just need to finish the details.



Yes, I am currently running 2 stems. I didn't want to cut the steerer tube yet, and didn't have enough spacers for the total length. I did, however, have an extra stem lying around.

theres a tomisini hanging up in the shop exactly like that, same paint same size and has never been built up.

You know once you have the bottom one clamped down you can take the top one off. Just put something soft over the exposed steerer tube.

It's 36 x 16. 61 gear inches, things be hilly around here and this gets me around very nicely. There's maybe a mm or two of clearance on the seat tube with those tires. Surly claims this thing will roll 38s, can't see 37mm T-serves making it in there. The hub sits pretty far back in the track ends as it rolls right now.

So far, really digging the moustache bars. The drops on my conversion are nearly level with the saddle too, so I tend to prefer more upright riding positions. The moustache extends me out a little more when I'm on the fronts of the bend, and sits me back and more upright when I'm out near the ends.
